Wireless Alarm Clock

For a final project in Foundations of Engineering Project II, my team created an alarm clock that featured no attached snooze or off button but instead received its off signal from a wireless off button that the user could place at a location of his or her chosing (eg: the shower). This way, the customer would have to be out of bed before silencing the alarm.

To deliver a working prototype, we disassembled and modifed an existing clock radio, inserted our own circuitry, and built the wireless "off" button.
